All Facial Therapy courses are written to current NOS requirements (National Occupation Standrads) and are accredited by ABT in the UK and AIT in Ireland. 

 

The standard Facial Therapy Course must be completed before you can advance on to the following courses:

Thai Herbal Facial Therapy

Aromatherapy Facial

There will be both a written and practical assessment at the end of each course.

Facial Therapy

This is a 4 day course that runs over 4 consecutive weeks.  The course involves both practical and theoretical elements where you will learn all elements of facial skincare - skin types, skin conditions, skin diagnosis, anatomy and physiology of the skin, bones, blood, lymph etc. health, safety and hygiene, contra-indications, contra-actions and all other underpinning knowledge.  You will also learn the practical elements of carrying out a facial treatment including consultation techniques, skin analysis, cleansing, massaging, masking, prescribing product.  During the course you will be expected to completed case studies and set homework, and at the end of the course there will be both a practical and written assessment.

Stone Facial Therapy

*Please note you must be qualified in Facial Therapy or equivalent in order to undertake this course*

Stone Facial Therapy is the perfect course for those wishing to develop and advance their facial skills. This one day course covers all of the necessary health, safety and hygiene required when using hot and cold stones as well as the full treatment procedure, the benefits of a stone facial, contra-indications, contra-actions, aftercare and the commercial timings and costs to ensure that you are able to carry out the treatment both confidently and professionally.

Thai Herbal Facial Therapy

*Please note you must be qualified in Facial Therapy or equivalent in order to undertake this course*

This wonderful facial technique is a great addition to any treatment menu and a great skill to have.  Covering all required underpinning knowledge including - health and safety, codes of practice, history of the treatment, benefits of the treatment, who the treatment is designed for, treatment times, costings. contra-indications, contra-actions and of course the practical skill required to complete the treatment professionally and effectively.  This is a one day course and is a great skill for any facial therapist.

Aromatherapy Facial

*Please note you must be qualified in Facial Therapy or equivalent in order to undertake this course*

Aromatherapy oils can provide great benefit to your facial clients both mentally and physically and are a great addition to a facial.  This one day course will teach you the technique of combining pre-blended aromatherapy oils within a divine facial technique to ensure maximum benefit and result.  Covering all theory and practical skill required for you to carry out the treatment safely, hygienically and effectively this course is a very interesting day and will equip you with a great addition to your current skills.

Aromatherapy Facial Practitioner

*Please note you must be qualified as an Aromatherapy Practitioner or equivalent to undertake this course*

This two day course is designed for those already qualified as Aromatherapy Practitioners who are looking to add facial techniques to their treatment menu.  During the course you will learn about skin types and conditions, the benefits of the treatment, health, safety and hygiene, consultation techniques, contra-indications, contra-actions, aftercare and so much more.  All practical skills will be covered teaching you a full facial routine and a beautifully relaxing facial massage combined with prescribed aromatherapy oils.
